I might have to pick this up. Quake is probably one of my all time favorite FPSs. It kinda sucks that I own the commercial version of the game, but I have to buy it again just so I can have steams online support.

Did the original come with a CD-Key that is compatible with Steam's service? If so, you can just put that in and your good to go.

No not yet. I bought Team Fortress Classic instead. That would be sweet if you could hook that up. I love Quake.

The only condition would be, would you be willing to do a review or some kind of coverage of Quake on your show? Not an advertisement but something I can point at for my id contact to see that he didn't waste a code?

Absolutely. I have played a few different versions of the game and I'm sure I could come up with a good video. Grabbing footage might be something of a challenge since Steam is kind of a memory hog on my machine, but one way or another, I'll make it work.

Not making any promises but looks like I will be getting a couple of Steam Press Accounts (they just dump games into the account for review purposes, no real control over what is given, sometimes it is retro stuff, most of the time, it is newer).
